Apple Watch Ultra: Forged For Athletes
With the recent Apple Watch Ultra, Apple gives intense athletes like professional divers, skydivers, and ultra-marathon runners something significant. The Cupertino powerhouse has been developing on it for years, and in 2022’s “Far Out” event, it was eventually exposed.
We have openly mentioned the Apple Watch Rugged Edition leaks and conjectures. It was, however, the Apple Watch Ultra. It has a more extensive display and a fresh style for outdoor activities. It sports a 2,000 nit sapphire crystal for brightness.
The Ultra has a revised computerized crown, a 49mm titanium casing, a new animated button, and a redesigned button shield on the side.
The new animated button was developed by Apple for a number of functions, including the trackback functionality, workouts, and compass directions.
Additionally, the Watch Ultra features a fantastic battery life that can last close to 36 hours on one charge. Utilizing the new low-power mode, the battery life can also be increased by up to 60 hours.
The watch has a backtrack option that allows you to go back over your steps in case you get lost in dense jungle. Additionally, the Watch Ultra does have a higher L5 frequency and enhanced multiband GPS. Due to its WR 100 water-resistant and ability to instantly launch the depth app while scuba diving, it can also tolerate water activities. It displays the depth, time, and temperature. It is moreover EN 13319 licensed for scuba divers, which is the cherry on top.

Specially designed for athletes on the go! The watch’s 60-hour battery life (in one charging) suits those who train for a long span of time.
Electrocardiodiagram (ECG)
This feature is also present on earlier models and is a must-have feature especially since this model claims to be forged for athletes. An ECG records the timing and strength of the electrical signals from the heart. Through this, you can see your heart rhythms and irregularities.
Pro Running Features and WR 100 and Depth Gauge
You can take this smartwatch on the road and even in the depths of the sea! It can survive up to 328 feet; perfect for free divers, scuba divers, and other water sports!
Crash Detection
This is one of the Apple Watch Series 8’s major features. Through Apple’s new sensors that can be compared to a high G-force accelerometer and three-axis gyroscope, the watch is able to detect a car crash. To be specific, the sensors focus on rollovers, side-impact, and rear-end collisions.
Temperature Sensing
These sensors detect and estimate the user’s ovulation cycle and even track nightly shifts based on the individual’s baseline temperature due to exercise, jet lag, and alcohol. This alerts your iPhone connected to the watch about your current health status.
Blood Oxygen
On a pre-installed app called blood oxygen, the watch gives the user their blood oxygen level throughout the day. Simply rest your arm on a flat surface with the Apple Watch display facing up and press start. Hold still for 15 seconds and you’ll have your results in no time!
Trail, Alpine, and Ocean are the three bands that are offered for the Watch Ultra. The Ocean is built for water sports, whereas the Alpine is ideal for strenuous pursuits. Additionally, the Trail wristband is made for runners.
The Apple Watch Ultra will be on sale on September 23 for $799.
